Todd Berinstein, MD

Todd Berinstein, MD

Dr. Todd Berinstein, MD, JD, FACS is a board certified and experienced ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor, with a special interest in diseases of the ear. He has achieved board certification by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His status as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons means he is committed to quality care. He is a fellow of the American Accademy of Otolaryngic Allergy, meaning he has met the standards for the practice of ENT Allergy and for better, whole-patient care. He has been working in Vancouver since leaving the US Navy in 1997, first as a solo practitioner, then joining Dr. Donald Newell at Vancouver ENT. Dr. Berinstein obtained a bachelors degree in Psycho-Biology from UCLA, then a doctorate in medicine the University of Southern California. His first post-doctoral year internship in surgery was done at Navy Hospital San Diego, and then he served in Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 3 out of Port Hueneme, CA for a year. He returned for ENT training to the U.S. Naval Medical Center, San Diego. In 2007, he spent 6 months in an otology fellowship at the world famous Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Bionic Ear Institute, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Our Audiologists:

Alison Metcalf, AuD

Alison Metcalf, AuD

Alison Metcalf has over 25 years experience in the field of Audiology. She is a native of the Pacific Northwest and received her Master’s degree in Audiology at Portland State University. She obtained her Doctoral degree in Audiology from The Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Because of her long-standing interests in medical and academic work environments, Alison held positions as an Instructor of Audiology, Department of Surgery, at Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, New Hampshire and worked for the Veterans’ Administration Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont. In addition, Alison has worked at several Ear, Nose and Throat clinics before her current position as Clinical Director and Owner of Audiology Associates. Alison shares her knowledge and time by volunteering on medical mission trips. She works with Faith in Practice, a national non-profit organization. She has been to Guatemala numerous times to provide hearing care and hearing aids to deserving children.

Our Physician Assistants:

Danielle Brown, PA


Danielle Brown, MPAS, PA-C

Danielle grew up in Vancouver, WA and remained in the PNW throughout her career. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at WSU. She worked at OHSU as a research associate focusing on chronic pain and the effects of long term opioid therapy. While studying to become a Physician Assistant, she worked in an outpatient physical therapy clinic aiding patients through their rehabilitation and she volunteered in hospice care at Kaiser Permanente. She completed her Physician Assistant training at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Or where she participated in community service projects. She was awarded the Josiah Hill Scholarship in recognition of her passion to serve and invest in the local community. In her free time she enjoys doing anything outdoors, traveling, and looking after her house plants and troublesome cat.



Kayla Eversole, PA


Kayla Eversole, MPAS, PA-C

Kayla Eversole is a graduate of Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction Colorado. During her Otolaryngology rotation, she developed a special interest in helping patients with sinus and ear problems. She is passionate about one-on-one patient visits, and working collaboratively through open, honest, and empathetic communication to develop personalized treatment plans. She wants patients of any background, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender identity to know that she will be an advocate for their health and treat them with the respect they deserve. Prior to PA school, she worked as a medical/surgical assistant at a dermatology office in Colorado, where she developed her devotion to patient care. She received a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a certificate in public health from the University of Colorado Boulder.
