If you’re about to have a surgery done by one of our doctors, here are some things you should know:
The DATE and TIME of your surgery

This depends on a couple of things:
- When your insurance approves it
- When the hospital has an open time slot

We will work with you to schedule a date
and approximate time
- In the end, the hospital has the final say of when your surgery takes place
The HOSPITAL where your surgery will happen
Depending on your insurance, you may have surgery at one of the following hospitals:

(LSCMC)

What your INSURANCE will cover
- We can not say this enough: everyone’s insurance is different
- We will work with your insurance company to make sure you get the most out of your benefit

However, you will probably still need to pay a portion of the bill
- We will ask for this payment up front
- Because it is just an estimate though, you may get a refund for part of the amount after your surgery processes the claim
What the RECOVERY time is like
- Everyone takes a different length of time to feel better after surgery
- You will get a handout that tells you what you should expect in the days and weeks following your operation
